A performance where I read excerpts form Juliana Sphar’s poem This connection to Everyone With Lungs. I inhaled first, then held my breath while reading a line, then exhaled when the line was over. I used an AR filter of smoke and had my head placed in a fireplace to highlight the use of lungs, and especially the struggle that many people with lungs were enduring while COVID raged.

In collaboration with Olya Salimova and Alexis Aguilar, we performed based on a score provided by other classmates. We used confined spaces, and broke our of those spaces to work through our feeling of confinement and isolation during COVID lockdown.
